Cinematic Video Editor

About the role

Faisal Town Group is seeking an experienced Cinematic Video Editor to craft compelling visual stories for brand films, digital campaigns and other marketing communications. The role works closely with the Content Production Lead and Director of Photography from planning through post‑production, supervising a small team of editors.

Key responsibilities

• Edit high‑quality cinematic content for brand films, project launches, digital campaigns, corporate films and social media.
• Develop story flow, structure, pacing and emotional progression to ensure each film has a clear beginning, build‑up and conclusion.
• Collaborate with the Content Production Lead and DOP during pre‑production to plan shots, sequences and visual treatments.
• Supervise a team of 2–3 video editors, assign work, review edits and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Integrate motion graphics, typography, compositing and VFX where required.
• Utilise AI‑powered VFX and generative video tools to enhance storytelling and production value.
• Manage footage from professional cinema and mirrorless camera systems and organise post‑production workflows efficiently.
• Maintain effective file management, project organisation, version control and archiving of production assets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in cinematic, advertising, real estate, hospitality, lifestyle or premium brand content.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating cinematic storytelling, narrative editing and high‑quality visual execution.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, compositing and VFX.
• Practical understanding of AI‑assisted video production, AI VFX and generative video workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight production schedules without compromising creative quality.
