Client Account Manager – FI & NBFI Banking

About the role

The Client Account Manager will serve as the dedicated point of contact for FI and NBFI clients, overseeing all cash and trade related transactions. The role focuses on deepening relationships through cross‑selling, up‑selling, and delivering exceptional client service.

Key responsibilities

• Support revenue‑generating FI & NBFI clients as their primary account manager for cash and trade transactions.
• Identify and act on cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities to increase product penetration.
• Conduct regular client engagement, periodic account reviews, and maintain dashboards for payments volume, CASA, and trade throughput.
• Coordinate with internal departments to streamline documentation, improve transaction flow, and enhance client experience.
• Propose and implement service improvements in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio health, detect leakages, and take corrective actions to minimise attrition.
• Support branding initiatives such as awards and research calling programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing cash management and trade finance relationships for FI/NBFI clients.
• Strong analytical ability to track transaction volumes and identify growth opportunities.
• Capability to work closely with product and solution delivery teams to meet client needs.
• Awareness of operational, fraud, and compliance risks in a regulated banking environment.
