Clinical Intake Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a qualified MBBS doctor based in Pakistan to join our U.S.-focused home health team as a Clinical Intake Coordinator. This remote, full‑time position blends medical knowledge with non‑clinical operations, handling patient referrals, documentation review, and communication with healthcare partners during U.S. Central Time business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process new patient referrals from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physicians, social workers, and discharge planners.
• Verify that all required patient, demographic, insurance, and clinical documentation is complete and accurate.
• Coordinate the intake workflow from initial referral through admission hand‑off to internal teams.
• Review medical records, discharge summaries, physician orders, medication lists, and diagnoses for completeness and consistency.
• Summarize clinical information for internal teams and flag any issues to U.S. clinical leadership.
• Communicate professionally with referral sources, follow up on pending items, and maintain strong relationships.
• Assist with insurance eligibility verification and support the business development team by ensuring timely referral processing.

Required profile

• MBBS degree and active medical registration in Pakistan.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, common diagnoses, comorbidities, medications, and clinical workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work during U.S. Central Time business hours.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple referrals simultaneously.
