Cloud Operations Manager (AWS)

About the role

Cloudelligent is looking for a Cloud Operations Manager (AWS) to lead its cloud team in Islamabad. You will drive operational excellence, support team growth, and help customers modernize their AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, performance, and communication of the cloud operations team.
• Create a supportive environment that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Work with the cloud engineering team to operationalize service offerings and identify new service opportunities.
• Author reusable Infrastructure‑as‑Code to provision complex, scalable AWS environments.
• Modernize customer architectures through containerization using Kubernetes, Docker, and ECS/EKS.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities via AutoScaling, right‑sizing, and waste elimination in AWS workloads.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in software/computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing AWS cloud workloads or equivalent.
• 2+ years of technical team management experience, preferably with customer‑facing teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts (Incident, Major Incident, Problem, Change) and experience in technical customer support.
