Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

Systems Limited is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join its regional commercial finance team. The role partners with cross‑functional and DRBU teams to provide strategic financial guidance across the APMEA region, initially focusing on the combustible market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly SOP process and ensure alignment of financial metrics.
• Coordinate preparation of budgets, plans and forecasts, delivering accurate information for performance monitoring.
• Own month‑end closing activities, including sales rebate reconciliation and the monthly planning cycle.
• Analyse general ledger data to produce comprehensive insights for management.
• Conduct financial analysis of marketing programs to support resource allocation decisions.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Leadership Team on budgeting, profit delivery, operating expenses and capex.
• Support pricing strategy through simulations and elasticity analysis.
• Evaluate product and brand profitability and contribute to strategic investment models.
• Participate in trade contract negotiations and performance payment assessments.
• Perform scenario‑based business case development and post‑implementation reviews.
• Review competitors’ marketing activities, financials and market share to inform strategy.
• Promote financial and commercial awareness within Marketing and ensure compliance with International Accounting Standards.

Required profile

• Proactive and collaborative mindset, able to work closely with DRBU and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and ability to translate insights into revenue‑generation recommendations.
• Experience delivering strategic financial guidance and influencing commercial decisions.
