Contracts Attorney – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Attorney to join a leading technology and internet company on a contract basis. This remote position offers the chance to provide strategic legal guidance and oversee all contractual matters for a fast‑growing global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary legal advisor to executive leadership and board members on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including vendor, partnership, and licensing agreements.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to operations, product offerings, and international expansion.
• Oversee corporate legal functions such as intellectual property protection, data privacy, and employment law.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws across multiple jurisdictions while supporting growth objectives.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• Minimum 10 years of corporate law experience, preferably in technology, internet, or digital platform sectors.
• Proven expertise in commercial contract negotiation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience advising startups or high‑growth companies on venture financing, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
• Familiarity with data‑privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and with intellectual property protection strategies.
