Data Engineer - SQL, ETL & NetSuite Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong SQL, ETL, and NetSuite expertise to join a US‑based fruit ingredients and sourcing company’s Data & Analytics team in Islamabad. The role focuses on building scalable data solutions for enterprise reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise complex SQL queries, views, and CTEs.
• Design and maintain semantic data models for reporting and analytics.
• Build and optimise data‑warehouse objects and backend reporting solutions.
• Analyse query performance and optimise execution plans.
• Validate data accuracy and reconcile data across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with BI developers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support Power BI datasets and enterprise reporting initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in SQL development and data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency with Oracle SQL or SQL Server.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Required skills

• SQL development (complex joins, CTEs, views, window and aggregate functions)
• Query optimisation and performance tuning
• Relational database design and data modelling (star and snowflake schemas)
• ETL/ELT concepts and data validation/reconciliation
• NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW), SuiteAnalytics Connect, Saved Searches
• Power BI (Power Query, data modelling)
