Data Scientist - Python (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with strong Python expertise to join a leading technology company on a full‑time remote basis. The role focuses on developing, training, and optimizing AI models while collaborating with researchers and annotators to improve model performance through reinforcement learning with human feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Python code for training and optimizing AI models.
• Conduct systematic evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyze results for continuous improvement.
• Rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Produce detailed explanations and rationales for evaluations, demonstrating strong technical reasoning.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of high‑quality, task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Solid experience with data science and machine learning techniques.
• Ability to extract insights from public databases using business sense and analytical abilities.
• Strong bug‑fixing skills and experience producing thorough technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate reasoning in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
