About the role

We are hiring for a client seeking a full‑time Remote Data Scientist specialized in Python. The role focuses on developing, training, and optimizing AI models while collaborating with researchers and annotators to improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient Python code for AI model training and optimization.
• Conduct evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyze results for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains.
• Provide detailed explanations and rationales for evaluations, demonstrating strong reasoning and technical expertise.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of high‑quality, task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Experience with data‑science and machine‑learning techniques.
• Ability to extract insights from public databases using analytical skills.
• Strong bug‑fixing capabilities and thorough technical documentation skills.
• Excellent communication to clearly articulate reasoning in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
