Data Scientist - Python (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong Python expertise to join a global technology leader. The role is fully remote and focuses on developing, training, and optimizing AI models while evaluating their performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Python code for AI model training and optimization.
• Conduct evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyze results for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Produce detailed explanations and rationales for evaluations, demonstrating strong reasoning and technical insight.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, creating and curating task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Solid experience with data science and machine‑learning techniques.
• Ability to extract insights from public databases using business sense and analytical abilities.
• Strong bug‑fixing skills and ability to produce thorough technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating reasoning in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
