Data Scientist – Python (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Python‑focused Data Scientist to join a leading technology company on a full‑time remote basis. The role involves building, training, and optimizing AI models, as well as evaluating their performance against benchmark criteria. You will work closely with researchers and annotators to apply reinforcement learning with human feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient Python code for training and optimizing AI models.
• Conduct evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyze results for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Develop comprehensive explanations and rationales for evaluations, demonstrating strong reasoning and technical expertise.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of high‑quality, task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proven proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Experience with data science and machine learning techniques.
• Ability to extract insights from public databases using analytical skills.
• Strong debugging abilities and experience producing thorough technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating reasoning in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
