Dental Claims Specialist

About the role

As a Dental Claims Specialist you will be the driving force behind iCore’s revenue cycle management, ensuring dental practices receive timely reimbursement for the services they provide. You will work closely with insurance companies, front‑office staff and patients to submit accurate claims and resolve any issues that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Submit dental insurance claims electronically and manually with accuracy and timeliness.
• Review patient records, treatment plans and insurance coverage to ensure proper coding and documentation.
• Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims, investigate discrepancies and obtain payment status.
• Monitor accounts receivable and maintain current aging reports.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve claim issues.
• Assist front‑office staff and patients with billing inquiries and account balances.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental billing guidelines.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Full English proficiency.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection, PC with dual screens, headset and webcam.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dental billing and claims processing concepts.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and dental billing regulations.
