DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a remote DevOps Engineer specialized in infrastructure to join a leading technology client on a contract basis. You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines while automating cloud infrastructure to improve delivery speed and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement improvements for high availability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed DevOps best practices.
• Support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring scalability, cost‑optimization, and security compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines and using IaC tools.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
