DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a leading global IT services and consulting firm on a contract basis. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure to accelerate software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or comparable tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline deployments and integrations.
• Apply and enforce security best practices throughout the infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code and configuration management.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
