Economics Researcher (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Economics Researcher to join a global leader in the technology, information and internet sector. The role involves applying rigorous quantitative methods to generate economic insights that directly influence strategic decisions and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement economic models to assess market trends, pricing strategies and competitive dynamics.
• Develop, test and validate statistical and econometric models using large‑scale datasets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate economic findings into actionable business strategies.
• Produce technical reports, publish research findings and present insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Stay up‑to‑date with advances in economic theory, computational methods and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in econometrics, time‑series analysis and quantitative research methods.
• Experience working with large datasets and extracting data via SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex analyses.
• Ability to interpret economic data and derive actionable insights.
