Electrical Technician & Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician & Supervisor to lead our electrical maintenance team. The role involves overseeing daily maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and repair of electrical systems while ensuring safety and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical technicians and maintenance staff.
• Plan, assign and monitor electrical maintenance and repair tasks.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and maintain wiring, panels, fixtures, generators, UPS, motors and other equipment.
• Diagnose faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure timely resolution.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and applicable standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Train, guide and evaluate technicians to improve performance.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, and prepare maintenance reports for management.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and breakdowns as required.

Required profile

• Diploma/DAE in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 3‑5 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, control panels, motors, breakers and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns.
