About the role
The role is responsible for managing long‑haul network configuration, including FTTH networks, and providing advanced support for core transmission systems. The incumbent will ensure network health, optimize performance, and coordinate with vendors and regional teams during emergencies.
Key responsibilities
- Configure PTN, OTN and DWDM devices and perform health checks.
- Provide advanced L2 support for core transmission and coordinate emergency handling with vendors.
- Analyze key performance parameters to drive network optimization.
- Manage premium support for corporate business customers and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Maintain escalation matrices, share ETTR metrics, and keep customers updated.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2‑4 years of relevant experience in network configuration and support.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience configuring PTN, OTN and DWDM networks.
- Strong knowledge of core transmission network architecture.
- Understanding of network implementation and integration processes.
