Executive – Transport Operations (Level III)

About the role

PTCL Group is seeking an Executive for Transport Operations (Level III) to ensure the reliability and performance of its transport network and optical fiber infrastructure. The role focuses on proactive management, fault resolution, and maintaining high service quality for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage availability and quality of transport network elements and optical fiber infrastructure.
• Implement proactive measures to prevent communication faults.
• Diagnose and resolve critical fiber network and transmission system faults.
• Prepare and submit operational and fault reports to senior management.
• Optimize resource utilization and forecast procurement needs.
• Apply company policies and SOPs within the network domain.
• Develop and execute contingency plans for OFC, OFS, or transmission failures.
• Supervise facilities provided through the I&I Wing to corporate clients.
• Conduct O&M activities in line with operational standards.
• Maintain high availability and reliability of transmission systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, Networking or related engineering field.
• Ability to build and lead a technical support team.
• Experience in project management and vendor management.
