Expert Planning & Strategy

About the role

The Expert Planning & Strategy role sits at the heart of Jazz GSM's strategic and commercial planning function. It translates business and budget ambitions into actionable plans, monitors revenue and service‑level performance, and provides insights that help senior management mitigate risks and seize growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tactical objectives that cascade budgetary targets, using AI‑driven planning, predictive analytics and automated performance monitoring.
• Create and track marketing plans across departments, ensuring implementation aligns with strategic goals.
• Prepare OpCo Board materials and liaise with FP&A during forecasting cycles to lock revenue KPIs and define achievement strategies.
• Design marketing performance scorecards, delivering actionable insights and early‑warning alerts.
• Conduct P&L reporting and variance analysis for Jazz Consumer Division services, leveraging AI‑enabled automation.
• Formulate in‑depth strategy and forecasts for each Jazz Lifestyle Venture, applying AI‑powered forecasting and customer analytics.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, develop investment cases, and perform financial and scenario modelling for digital ventures, partnerships, or acquisitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance or Accounting.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, ACMA or CIMA is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in the telecom sector and finance, with exposure to international environments.
