Family Law Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Family Law Attorney to join a leading global legal services provider on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while handling a variety of domestic relations matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, file, and argue motions, temporary orders, and final judgments in family law disputes.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex family law issues.
• Advise clients on rights, obligations, and strategic options in divorce, custody, and support cases.
• Maintain compliance with procedural rules and deadlines throughout litigation.

Required profile

• Active license to practice law in good standing with a state bar association.
• At least three years of family law practice, including courtroom litigation.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to develop case strategies based on statutes and case law.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management software.
• Experience using legal research tools.
