First Mile Executive (Lahore Operations)

About the role

QWQER is hiring a First Mile Executive for its Lahore Operations team. The role manages daily merchant pickups, shipment handovers, returns, reverse pickups, Shipper Advice (SA) shipments, vehicle monitoring, route planning and operational reporting. The selected person ensures timely execution of daily operations, accurate shipment handling, proper system updates and compliance with company SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Daily merchant pickups: collect parcels according to the schedule, verify quantities and coordinate with merchants on delays.
• Mid-mile handover: hand over parcels to the Mid Mile team by the cutoff time, scan and document them, and report missing or delayed shipments.
• Merchant returns: collect and sort returns, dispatch them on time, keep records and share merchant-wise reports with the Operations Manager.
• Reverse pickups: coordinate with merchants and riders, follow up on pending or unsuccessful pickups and keep proof of pickup and handover.
• Shipper Advice (SA) shipments: monitor, sort and process them per merchant instructions and SOPs, and track pending, processed and completed shipments.
• Vehicle and route monitoring: check opening and closing vehicle kilometers, fuel consumption and route efficiency, and report issues and delays.
• Daily route planning: prepare pickup plans and assign routes to minimize travel and fuel costs, and coordinate urgent pickups and route changes.
• System updates and proof: update all shipments in the system and upload proof of pickup, handover and return; do not close a shipment without verification.
• Daily reports: submit reports on pickups, missed shipments, discrepancies, returns, reverse pickups, SA shipments, vehicle kilometers and fuel, route completion and operational issues to the Operations Manager.

Performance indicators (KPIs)

• On-time merchant pickup completion and timely, accurate mid-mile handover.
• No unverified or unaccounted-for shipments.
• Timely processing of returns, reverse pickups and SA shipments.
• Accurate system updates and proof uploads.
• Timely submission of all mandatory daily reports.
• Effective vehicle utilization and route planning.
