Freelance QA Engineer – 40 hrs/week

About the role

Wing is looking for a freelance Quality Assurance Engineer to own and evolve the test automation ecosystem for M32 AI. You will ensure that weekly releases are bug‑free and deliver delightful experiences to users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed manual test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing to validate features and user workflows.
• Identify, document, and report clear, actionable bugs with reproduction steps and evidence.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify requirements and verify fixes.
• Verify bug fixes and new features through thorough manual testing before release.
• Maintain test documentation, quality metrics, and reporting dashboards.
• Support automation efforts by providing coverage insights and validating automated test results.

Required profile

• 2+ years of manual testing experience for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Strong exploratory testing skills to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and fine‑tuning YAML configurations.
• Ability to treat flaky tests as challenges and implement strategies to eliminate them.
• Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
