Go Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Go (Golang) developer to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high‑performance microservices and APIs that power real‑time data processing and user‑facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services using Go to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to enforce architectural standards and security guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on Go development experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker).
