Lecturer – Computer Science

About the role

The university is seeking a motivated Lecturer in Computer Science to deliver undergraduate courses, support student learning, and contribute to departmental activities. The role involves designing curriculum, assessing student performance, and fostering an engaging academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate programmes.
• Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, examinations and marking schemes.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain academic records.
• Assist with curriculum implementation, examination moderation, and departmental meetings.
• Offer academic guidance, encourage professional development, and support extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• MS or MPhil (minimum 18 years of education) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Information Systems from an HEC‑recognized university.
• Preferred: PhD candidate or scholar in a related discipline.
• University‑level teaching experience.
• Industry experience in software development, AI, data science, cyber security, cloud computing or IT infrastructure is advantageous.
