Lecturer – Computer Science (Undergraduate)

About the role

The Ignition Pro School for Entrepreneurs seeks a Lecturer in Computer Science to deliver undergraduate courses in Lahore. The role involves teaching, assessing, and supporting academic activities in line with institutional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops and lab sessions for undergraduate programmes.
• Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, examinations and marking schemes.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain attendance records, support curriculum implementation and assist in examination moderation.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic administration.
• Provide academic guidance, encourage student participation and support extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• MS/MPhil (minimum 18 years of education) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Information Systems from an HEC‑recognised university.
• Preferred: PhD candidate in a related discipline and professional certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Cisco CCNA, Oracle, CompTIA Security+ or Google Data Analytics.
• University‑level teaching experience and/or industry experience in software development, AI, data science, cyber security, cloud computing or IT infrastructure.
