Legal Counsel

About the role

Nysonian Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Legal Counsel to support day‑to‑day operations and ensure compliance with U.S. regulations. The role requires solid knowledge of U.S. law and prior experience with U.S.‑based companies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and legal support for the company’s U.S. legal matters.
• Prepare, file, and manage legal documents, contracts, and reports in accordance with U.S. law.
• Conduct legal research on U.S. statutes, regulations, and industry practices.
• Draft and proofread contracts, memoranda, and other legal correspondence.
• Organize and maintain legal records, case files, and confidential materials.
• Track legal timelines, deadlines, and compliance obligations for various projects.
• Coordinate communication between internal teams, external law firms, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with corporate governance tasks such as meeting minutes and board resolutions.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and legal trends in the United States and Pakistan.
• Handle additional legal administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a legal counsel or legal‑administrative role within a U.S.‑based company.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. laws, regulations, and legal systems.
• Experience with contracts, litigation, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Proficiency in legal research and case‑management tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal English communication abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
