About the role

We are seeking a remote Legal Expert to support a leading technology platform that connects freelancers with micro‑task opportunities. The part‑time position involves ensuring the platform’s policies and operations comply with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to micro‑tasking, data privacy, and labor regulations.
• Assess cross‑border transaction risks and manage intellectual property disputes.
• Provide legal support for user disputes and platform‑related inquiries.
• Monitor evolving laws affecting gig‑economy platforms and recommend updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Effective communication of complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
