About the role

We are seeking a Legal Expert to support a leading technology platform that connects freelancers with micro‑task opportunities. This part‑time, fully remote position involves ensuring the platform’s policies and operations comply with relevant laws across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Advise on data‑privacy, labor‑law, and cross‑border transaction risks.
• Assess and mitigate intellectual‑property disputes related to gig‑economy activities.
• Provide legal support for user disputes and platform‑related inquiries.
• Monitor evolving regulations affecting gig‑economy platforms and recommend updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience reviewing and drafting contracts for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor‑law requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
