M&A Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to provide legal expertise on mergers, acquisitions and corporate transactions for a global technology leader. This contract position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while supporting high‑impact deals that shape digital innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements and stock purchase agreements.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on target entities to identify legal risks and liabilities.
• Advise on corporate governance, securities regulations and compliance matters related to M&A transactions.
• Collaborate with finance, tax and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Ensure all transaction documentation meets legal standards and mitigates potential liabilities.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a state bar with at least three years of experience handling M&A transactions.
• Experience with both domestic and cross‑border M&A deals.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of corporate law, securities regulations and contract drafting.
• Ability to analyze complex legal documents and identify critical issues.
