Manager – Record to Report (R2R)

About the role

The Manager – Record to Report (R2R) leads the R2R function, overseeing financial close, general ledger, revenue accounting and reporting for JWPL and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the Head of R2R, the role ensures accurate, timely financial statements in line with IFRS, Group policies and local regulations while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee revenue recognition, accounting, reconciliation and month‑end close across all streams, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Group policies.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting for JWPL and subsidiaries.
• Assess and apply appropriate accounting treatment for complex, non‑routine transactions.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
• Ensure SOX and internal control compliance, including testing and remediation of deficiencies.
• Monitor adherence to Group reporting requirements, accounting policies and statutory regulations.
• Identify process gaps, lead efficiency and standardisation initiatives, and drive automation in Oracle Fusion.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury and Corporate Accounting to resolve accounting and reporting matters.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of 3‑4 R2R professionals.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) or CA finalist.
• Proven experience in record‑to‑report, financial close and revenue accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOX and Group accounting policies.
• Experience managing audits and internal controls.
• Ability to lead a small finance team.
