Member of Technical Staff - Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff focused on legal research to work remotely on a full‑time basis. In this position you will combine legal expertise with technical problem‑solving to support product development and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Design and build technical frameworks or tools that automate parts of the legal research workflow.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and guidelines for legal compliance in product development.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience in legal research methodologies and regulatory analysis.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Legal research tools and methodologies (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
