Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer

About the role

Intergo Telecom is looking for a skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its SMS routing infrastructure. You will monitor real‑time traffic, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to keep the network running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and improve SMS route performance, identifying delivery issues early.
• Respond swiftly to network alerts, alarms, and incidents using Alaris monitoring tools.
• Investigate and diagnose technical problems related to SMS routing, network configurations, and logs.
• Maintain the messaging routing scheme to guarantee 24/7 availability.
• Escalate tickets from customers to suppliers and collaborate on system upgrades.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and document incidents, processes, and procedures.
• Optimize system performance and implement best practices for network reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a NOC or telecom environment.
• Proficiency with Alaris SMSC or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Experience in the voice field is a plus.
