Network Security Engineer – Remote Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer on a contract basis to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure. This hybrid position allows you to work remotely while collaborating with a global leader in software development and IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor network traffic for anomalies and respond to security incidents in real time.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security best practices into network architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network security engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and overall network infrastructure.
