On-Page SEO Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced On‑Page SEO Specialist to lead advanced SEO and AI‑search optimisation campaigns for clients in healthcare, home services and the nonprofit sector. You will collaborate with SEO strategists, content writers and developers to turn strategic plans into precise on‑page improvements that enhance relevance, authority and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full on‑page SEO process from research and planning to implementation, QA and performance monitoring.
• Analyse keyword opportunities, search intent, competitor pages and content gaps to identify high‑impact optimisation tasks.
• Create detailed content briefs and review content for accuracy, intent alignment, topical depth and SEO best practices.
• Optimise metadata, headings, internal linking, page structure and content organisation.
• Validate technical SEO elements such as indexing, canonicalisation, structured data and crawlability.
• Implement updates in WordPress or coordinate with writers and developers to ensure accurate execution.
• Monitor results with SEO tools and recommend ongoing improvements based on data and business impact.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on on‑page SEO experience, preferably in a digital‑marketing or agency environment.
• Ability to work 9 AM‑5 PM Eastern Time, Monday‑Friday, with at least 7 hours of overlap.
• Fully remote work setup.

• Understanding of website architecture and technical SEO fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs or similar SEO platforms.
• Hands‑on experience updating pages in WordPress.
