Outbound Sales Development Representative, Mid-Market

About the role

The Outbound Sales Development Representative (Mid-Market) will drive Motive’s growth by proactively reaching out to high‑potential prospects. You will be the first point of contact, qualifying leads and setting the stage for the sales team to close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage potential customers via cold calls, emails and social media.
• Research target accounts and identify key decision‑makers.
• Conduct consultative conversations to uncover needs and challenges.
• Articulate Motive’s value proposition and tailor messaging to specific pain points.
• Qualify leads against defined criteria and hand them to the sales team.
• Log all activities and lead data accurately in Salesforce.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape and product enhancements.
• Meet weekly activity targets and monthly lead‑qualification quotas.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an outbound sales or lead‑generation role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with international audiences.
• Strong understanding of sales fundamentals and a hunter mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
• Highly organized with solid time‑management capabilities.
