Pashto Language Expert – AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Pashto language expert to help train large‑scale AI models. The contractor will work remotely, interacting with the model in Pashto, evaluating linguistic accuracy, and documenting error patterns to improve future versions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in conversational sessions with the AI across diverse topics in Pashto.
• Assess and verify the model’s phonetic, morphological, syntactic, and semantic outputs.
• Record reproducible error traces and describe failure modes.
• Provide feedback on prompt design and evaluation metrics to enhance model performance.
• Collaborate with the data‑science team to refine training data and cultural references.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Linguistics, Pashto Studies, Translation or a related field (preferred).
• Professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work involving Pashto.
• Deep knowledge of Pashto phonetics, morphology, syntax, dialectal variations, idiomatic expressions and cultural context.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and methodically (“show your work”).
