Post Production Quality Control Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Content & Video Quality Control Specialist to join our Post‑Production team. The role focuses on reviewing raw footage, storyboards and final course videos to ensure they meet KnowledgeCity’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review raw course videos for audio‑visual issues such as talent mistakes, background noise, sync problems and on‑screen mismatches.
• Create and annotate storyboards using Boords to guide editors.
• Validate final course versions for voice‑over alignment, correct timing of icons, slides and animations, and consistent brand and instructional standards.
• Identify, document and communicate inconsistencies or improvement areas.
• Collaborate with video editors, project managers and instructional designers to maintain a smooth post‑production workflow.
• Maintain and evolve QC checklists, documentation and processes.
• Conduct research on industry trends and use generative AI tools to support course design.
• Curate high‑quality information, develop structured course outlines and prepare handoff briefs for content writers.
• Verify accuracy of curated facts, data points and regulatory information, and propose new topics based on market demand.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Library Science, Research or a related field.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot visual, audio and linguistic inconsistencies.
• Strong understanding of video formats, pacing, transitions and narration sync.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with storyboard tools such as Boords (training provided).
• Comfortable using collaboration platforms like Google Drive and ClickUp.
