Private Equity Attorney – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Equity Attorney to join our client’s legal team on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while providing expert guidance on fund formation, compliance, and transactional matters for private equity and investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on structuring, formation, and ongoing compliance of private equity and investment funds.
• Draft, review, and negotiate fund agreements, side letters, and related transactional documents.
• Provide regulatory guidance, including SEC and other applicable frameworks.
• Conduct due‑diligence for fund investments and transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align legal and business objectives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in private equity or investment fund law.
• Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and other financial regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex legal agreements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
