Procurement Associate – Vendor Management & Purchasing

About the role

Kickstart, Pakistan’s leading coworking space operator, is seeking a Procurement Associate for its Lahore head office. The role will support the end‑to‑end purchasing cycle, ensuring that all coworking locations receive the goods and services they need on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable vendors, completing documentation, quality checks and compliance verification.
• Manage the full procurement process: issue RFQs, compare quotations, create purchase orders and track deliveries.
• Maintain up‑to‑date vendor databases and procurement records for audit purposes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with operational needs.
• Review supplier terms, negotiate contracts and secure optimal pricing.
• Conduct market research, cost analysis and demand forecasting based on consumption trends.
• Prepare regular reports and ensure compliance with the procure‑to‑pay process.
• Apply Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) principles where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Procurement.
• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• High level of organization, time‑management and documentation accuracy.
• Professional and ethical approach to vendor relationships.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Proficiency in procurement software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Power BI for reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) models.
