Product Manager, Retail Deposits

About the role

The Retail Deposits Product Manager will support the Head of Product in driving the strategy, performance and growth of the bank’s deposit portfolio. You will shape product offerings, pricing and customer value propositions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Product in executing the Retail Liabilities strategy and meeting portfolio targets.
• Monitor portfolio performance, profitability, customer behaviour and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and implement product enhancements, pricing strategies and digital‑first value propositions.
• Lead strategic initiatives, product launches, digitisation programmes and transformation projects.
• Collaborate with business, technology, operations, risk, finance, compliance and marketing stakeholders.
• Leverage data and customer insights to optimise product performance and support data‑driven decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance and risk management requirements.
• Contribute to balance‑sheet growth, funding, revenue and customer acquisition goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience in banking, wealth management or product management, including 2‑3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of banking product management, especially deposit and liability products; digital banking exposure is a plus.
• Graduate or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to plan, organise and continuously improve customer experience across channels.
• Experience in a full‑time virtual environment is advantageous.
