Project Lead – Legal Strategy for Emerging Tech (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead a high‑impact project that designs and implements legal frameworks for emerging technologies. The role is fully remote and reports to a global leader in the technology, information and internet sector. The successful candidate will translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable strategies that support product innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute legal strategies aligned with project objectives and regulatory mandates.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal compliance throughout development cycles.
• Lead risk‑assessment and mitigation activities for technology‑related legal challenges.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and policy documents.
• Provide counsel on intellectual property, data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI regulations.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in a project leadership role.
• Proven track record managing complex legal projects in technology‑driven environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
