Project Lead – Legal & Technology (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead a high‑impact project that shapes regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies. This remote position offers the chance to influence AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity strategies for a global technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement legal strategies that align with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal compliance throughout development cycles.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation for technology‑related legal challenges.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and policy documents.
• Provide expert guidance on intellectual property, data privacy, and contractual obligations to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in a project leadership role.
• Proven expertise in technology law, especially data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal research tools.
• Experience using compliance frameworks for technology projects.
