About the role
We are seeking a remote Accountant with solid experience in US GAAP to support a global software development leader. This contract position involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and assisting with month‑end close processes.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist with federal and state tax filings and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.
Required profile
- Proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with month‑end close and reconciliation tasks.
- Strong knowledge of US tax compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
