Remote Data Specialist – AI Training Data Management

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Data Specialist to support a leading technology client in maintaining high‑quality datasets for AI model training and evaluation. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and relevance of human‑labeled data used across machine‑learning pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate human‑labeled data to guarantee consistency and accuracy for AI training datasets.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in data annotations by cross‑referencing source materials and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine annotation guidelines and improve overall data quality standards.
• Monitor and report on data‑labeling performance metrics, tracking progress and identifying trends.
• Assist in documenting processes and maintaining records of data sources, labeling rules, and quality checks.

Required profile

• Experience with data annotation, labeling, or quality‑assurance processes (preferred).
• Familiarity with basic data validation techniques and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow structured guidelines and maintain consistency in data handling tasks.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and the importance of high‑quality training data.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets or data‑management tools to track and organize information.
