Remote DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a contract DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for a global technology leader. The position is fully remote and focuses on improving software delivery speed, reliability, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement improvements for high availability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed DevOps best practices.
• Support cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring cost‑effective scalability.

Required profile

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and cloud‑native best practices.
