Remote Frontend Web Developer (HTML/CSS) – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a contract Frontend Web Developer to create and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML and CSS. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with design and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design across devices.
• Translate mockups from Figma, Sketch or similar tools into pixel‑perfect UI elements.
• Optimize front‑end performance and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in semantic HTML and modern CSS.
• Experience with responsive, mobile‑first design principles.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) or utility frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind).
• Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging and performance tuning.
