Remote Golang Developer (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to join a global software leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high‑performance backend services for a distributed micro‑services platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Go.
• Optimize existing services for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Debug and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define technical requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on Go development experience.
• Experience with micro‑services architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases and query optimization.
