Remote Physics Professor – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Physics Professor or Researcher (PhD) to join a global leader in education, research services, and technology. This fully remote contract position focuses on cutting‑edge quantum physics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics research, with an emphasis on publishing high‑impact results and mentoring junior scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute independent and collaborative research projects in quantum mechanics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• Publish original findings in top‑tier peer‑reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, providing project guidance and manuscript feedback.
• Develop and refine theoretical models to explain experimental data or propose new hypotheses.
• Write grant proposals and secure external funding through academic and industry partnerships.

Required profile

• PhD in Physics with a specialization in quantum physics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• At least 5 years of postdoctoral research experience.
• Strong publication record in journals such as Physical Review Letters or Nature Physics.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring graduate students or junior researchers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computational physics tools: Python, Mathematica, COMSOL Multiphysics.
