Remote Physics Professor – Quantum Research

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Physics Professor (PhD) to join a global leader in education, research services, and technology. This remote contract role focuses on cutting‑edge quantum physics research, publishing high‑impact papers, and mentoring junior scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in quantum mechanics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• Publish original findings in top‑tier peer‑reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, providing project guidance and manuscript review.
• Develop and refine theoretical models to explain experimental data or propose new hypotheses.
• Secure external funding through grant applications and partnerships with academic or industry collaborators.

Required profile

• PhD in Physics with a specialization in quantum physics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• Minimum 5 years of postdoctoral research experience.
• Proven record of publications in leading journals such as Physical Review Letters or Nature Physics.
• Experience mentoring graduate students and junior researchers.

Required skills

• Python programming for scientific computing.
• Mathematica for analytical and symbolic work.
• COMSOL Multiphysics for simulation and modeling.
