Remote Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are a fast‑scaling construction company seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work remotely from Pakistan. The role supports our UK residential construction, refurbishment and development projects, acting as a bridge between operational and strategic teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural plans, structural drawings and specifications to understand project scope.
• Prepare detailed client quotations, cost estimates and schedules of works.
• Analyse contractor quotations, scopes and costs, and prepare payment forecasts.
• Identify variations, additional works and potential cost increases.
• Assess project progress remotely using photographs, videos and contractor updates.
• Assist with lender drawdowns, preparing information for Monitoring Surveyors and lenders.
• Monitor project budgets and provide ongoing commercial support.

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, construction estimating or commercial management.
• Strong background in residential construction, refurbishment or property development.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience preparing client‑facing construction quotations.
• Understanding of construction methods, sequencing and project stages.
